Winifred Mae Tuggle

Winifred Mae Tuggle April 9, 1920 - Nov. 26, 2010 Resident of Brentwood Born and raised in Umatilla, FL where she met and married Ralph M. Tuggle of New Liberty, KY in 1946. They moved to California at that time, eventually settling in Contra Costa County. For the past 20 years she lived in Brentwood, where she was a member of the Brentwood Community Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and loved being around her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ralph M. Tuggle. She is also preceded in death by her brother William R. Hall and two sisters Nancy Elizabeth and Verna Katherine of Umatilla, FL. She is survived by her brothers James Hall and Franklin Hall of Umatilla, FL and a sister Evelyn Smith of Eustis, FL. She is also survived by all six of her loving and devoted children, Susanne Rogers of Alaska, Ralph M. Tuggle of Placerville, Gloria M. Johnson of Antioch, Gail L. Golden of Byron, John P. Tuggle of Fremont, and Beverly D. Johnson of Fresno. She was a loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Her loving and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and Family are invited to Funeral Services Friday Dec. 3, 2010 at the Brentwood Community Methodist Church, 809 2nd Street and Maple, Brentwood, CA. Burial to follow at Union Cemetary Brentwood, Blvd. Brentwood, CA.
