William Lynch deProsse, Jr. March 2, 1930~March 9, 2011 Resident of Concord After a long battle with heart disease, kidney failure, and finally, pneumonia, Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his sons William III and Aaron, and his parents, Clementine and William Sr. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his children, Holly Curry (Glenn), Fred and Brian (Alissa) deProsse; grandchildren, Roland (Elizabeth) and Nick (Lindsay) Aichele, Cole (Michele), Amanda, and Jonathan deProsse, Cari (Anderson) Dias, and Catherine Mabbatt. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his devotion to family and serving others, his big heart and smile, a passion for history, genealogy, his childhood home at Lindenwald (Kinderhook, N.Y), airplanes, motorcycles, and telling jokes and stories. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at Concord United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church would be appreciated.
