Rosario (Rose) Wallace Aug. 24, 1935 ~ Oct. 10, 2010 Resident of Brentwood Rose Wallace passed away on October 10th. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Rose was born in Durango, Mexico and came to the United States in 1960. She lived in Alturas, CA until she came to Brentwood in 1965. She remained in Brentwood until her death. One of her proudest moments was when she became a United States Citizen in 1994. Rose is survived by a loving daughter, Frances Shier (husband Rick); son Jim Pena; sister Aurelia; brother Vince; and many nieces and nephews. She surrounded herself with the love of her grandchildren Amy (Troy) Heathcote, Fred (Carolyn) Shier, Lori (Jamie) Martinez, Julie (Bill) Griffin, Ricky Shier and Robby Pena. Her eleven great-grandchildren brought her laughter and happiness. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, October 14th from 5-7pm followed by a Rosary at Brentwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15th at 10:30 at St. George's Episcopal Church, 301 East 13th Street, Antioch, CA. Burial to follow.
