Ron was born in Fresno, CA. Ron worked for the City of Walnut Creek for 40 yrs. He was a baseball coach for Martinez All-Stars Pony Leagues for over 40 yrs. He was a member of the Alhambra High Chain Gang for 20 years. He had a passion for fishing, camping, traveling and crabbing along with a love of old cars.
Ron was preceeded in death by his parents Walter and Jaine, sister Doris and son Kirk. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dixie, brothers Leo and Glenn,sister Donna, daughter Shelly Wright Murray (Rich), Grandsons Anthony Aires, Mike and Randy Wright, Shawn Rippee and great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Trinity Silas.
