Rachel "Shelley" Joy Lavigne Resident of Walnut Creek Rachel passed away on December 1, 2010 at 62 years of age. A native of Philadelphia, PA living in Northern California since 1982. A Medical Technologist for over twenty years. Rachel was a Board member of the John Muir Health Foundation and member of Congregation B'nai Shalom. Loving wife of Louis J. Lavigne, Jr. for 41 years; devoted mother of Stephanie (Michael) Sandberg, and Gordon Lavigne; adoring bubbie of Zachary, Ben, Max, Emily, Jack and Maddie; dear sister of David Winikur. Services will be held at Congregation B'nai Shalom, 74 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek on Friday, Dec. 3rd at 1:00PM.
