Pauline Henderson Obituary

Pauline Henderson Resident of Concord In Loving Memory Born in Yugoslavia, October 16, 1933, raised in Vienna, Austria, died in Concord, Ca. December 26, 2010 of natural causes. Married Raymond Henderson in Vienna on February 5, 1955. Became a PROUD American Citizen in 1958. Was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in San Francisco since around 1970. For many years Pauline was a volunteer for the VA Hospital at Fort Miley, San Francisco - averaging about 35 crochet ed by her own hands, afghan lap blankets for the Veterans EVERY EAR. As the Wife of 'Sarge', she was the second mother for many Cadets in the JROTC Program at Mission High School in San Francisco and was fondly known as 'Mrs. H'. She is survived by her husband, 'Sarge' R. G. Henderson, her 2 daughters; Jacqueline Gillette of Oregon and Pavline Morrill of Texas. As well as 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She will be Greatly Missed!!! Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
