Marvin Upton

Marvin Upton Resident of Oakley Marvin Leroy Upton, born April 5, 1927, in Oklahoma. passed away at home in Oakley, CA on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the age of 83. Survivors include his wife of almost 62 years, Ruth Upton; six children Marie Brown (Steve), Jack Upton (LaVerne), Terry Upton (Sue), Donna Day (Larry), Angie Veale (David), and Danny Guthrie; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grand-children. Services will be held at 10am, Friday, December 3 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 18 O'Neill Ct., Oakley, CA follwed by a viewing at the Brentwood Funeral home at 12:00pm. Burial will then be held at the Union Cemetery in Brentwood, CA at 2:30pm
