Margorie Guiliano Obituary

Marjorie E. Guiliano June 7, 1933 ~ Sept. 10, 2010 Resident of Blackhawk Marjorie Guiliano was born in Windsor, CA to parents Adrian and Mae Cook. She passed away quietly and unexpectedly in her sleep at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her older brother William Cook and her father Abe and mother Mae Cook. She graduated from San Leandro High School and married her husband Raymond shortly after his return from the Korean War. She worked tirelessly as a Secretary and a devoted mother while helping her beloved husband attend and graduate from College, and attend Post-Graduate courses, while raising their two children in Castro Valley. A lifelong resident of the Bay Area she loved to travel with her husband and children. They traveled far and wide all during their marriage, visiting all 50 states, some many times, and touring and sailing to many countries of the world. From very meager beginnings with her husband, who retired as a Police Captain from the City of Oakland, she became a successful Real Estate Investor, in a long process of investing in Land, Residences, Apartment Houses and Commercial Buildings in many different states as far away as Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada Hawaii, and Australia. She was a tireless traveler and loved meeting people on the road. She helped design and build the home she lived in for 25 years. In her early days she loved boating, fishing, camping and traveling in their Motor Home or flying to different places in California with her husband piloting. She had a great sense of humor and loved people, and loved to read and watch the news and current events on Television. She loved animals and birds, and particularly her black poodle which she named Dino. She loved being a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and once was a den mother to a pack of Cub Scouts. She is survived by her loving husband Raymond, who will miss her so much. They were married over 56 beautiful and wonderfully great years, and she often said we were born to be together. She is also survived by her son Andrew Guiliano, of Pleasant Hill; her daughter Sandra Guiliano of Atascadero; her daughter-in-law, Debra Guiliano; her Grandson Angelo Guiliano; her Granddaughter Cassandra Corsbie and many cousins, friends and relatives. She will be sorely missed. We love you Margie, forever and ever. You were the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could wish for. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
