Lynn Stanton Obituary

Lynn Ann Stanton Resident of Danville Lynn Stanton, 56, died suddenly in Danville on November 1, 2010. Lynn was born in New Bedford, MA on March 4, 1954. Lynn was a Registered Nurse, having earned her BSN from Fairfield University in 1976. Her greatest joy in life was her four children of whom she was exceedingly proud. She had a great passion for traveling, learning, and laughing with friends and family during lively conversation. She always made an effort to bring loved ones closer together and never allowed distance to be an excuse. Lynn forever felt most at home and peaceful near the ocean where she often found perspective, comfort, and happiness. She cherished any endeavor that brought enlightenment and enriched meaning to her life and the lives of those around her. Lynn is predeceased by her father George F. Riley. Lynn is survived by her children Ryan Stanton of Boston, MA, Garrett Stanton of San Francisco, CA, Rory Stanton of Boston, MA, Katherine Stanton of Providence, RI, and their father, Christopher Stanton of Danville, CA. She is also survived by her mother, Marie Elizabeth Morse and stepfather Charles Morse of Fairhaven, MA; and siblings Donna Riley of Suffield, CT, Ronald Riley of Franklin, TN, and Steven Riley of Fairhaven, MA. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, November 8, 2010 with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way, Danville, CA 94526. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville, CA 94526.
