Lois Beardsley McKeon June 16, 1917 ~ Dec. 19, 2010 Resident of San Ramon Lois Beardsley McKeon passed away peacefully Sunday December 19, 2010 at the age of 93, surrounded by her children, many of her grandchildren, and dear friend Pastor Father Bob. A native of San Francisco, she lived in Concord for 28 years before moving to the "Villa San Ramon" in August of 2000. She was very active at the "Villa", where she enjoyed heading up various service committees, as well as being the liaison for religious services between the "Villa" and St. Raymond Catholic Church where she was an active member for 11 years. She was a homemaker, beloved mother of 8 children, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A retiree of University of San Francisco Medical Center. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles R. McKeon; as well as 9 of her brothers and sisters; her son Harry McKeon; grandson Gregory McKeon; and son-in-law Art McKay. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn McKay of Benicia; son Tim McKeon and his wife Christine of Pleasanton; Therese Favro and husband Henry of Folsom; Grace Brown and husband Charles of Fremont; Mary Punches and husband Herb of Livermore; Lois Ubeda and husband Gus of San Ramon; Bernadette Jensen and husband Ken of San Ramon; as well as her brother Francis Beardsley of Santa Rosa; and Jean Beardsley of Santa Clara. Vigil Service will be held at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Avenue, Dublin on Wednesday, December 22nd at 7pm. Funeral Liturgy will also be at St. Raymond Catholic Church on Thursday, December 23rd at 10:30am. Reception in Parish Hall to follow.
