Julia lived most of her life in the East Bay raising her children and grandchildren. She was a strong advocate for the homeless and served as a board member at Fresh Start in Walnut Creek.
Julia is survived by her children; Frank and Tischia Ambrose, and Anthony DiMaggio, grandchildren; Chris, Casey, Giovanni and Sofia. She also leaves behind her sister Patricia and brother James.
