In Loving Memory of John Walden Michelson John was born September 1, 1921, in Berkeley, California, the beloved son of Hilda and Joseph Michelson and brother of Leo Michelson, passed away on October 7th, 2008 at the age of 87. John is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, and three adoring children: Patrick, Janet, and Carol; and five grandchildren: Craig, Lana, Matthew, Kevin and Elisabeth. John was the first generation of his Finnish ancestors to be born in America. After serving in WW2, John attended UC Berkeley and completed a degree in Geology. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, storyteller, and friend. He is dearly loved and deeply missed. He is laid to rest at the Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito.
