Helen Mary Hendrix Resident of Walnut Creek On the wings of angels, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and cherished friend, Helen Mary Hendrix, left us to join her husband in heaven on October 20, 2010 surrounded by her family. Helen was born in Syracuse, NY on August 31, 1930. She was a resident of Walnut Creek for 44 years. She loved her family, her husband of 53 years, Chuck, and her friends. She made every day events special, enjoyed life to the fullest and will be remembered in our hearts forever. She is survived by her daughters; Phyllis Quintero (husband Eduardo); Susan DuBois (husband Michael); Jo Ann Hendrix (husband Sigurd Kallhovde) and son, Chuck Hendrix (wife Sherri); her grandchildren: Joshua Quintero (wife Heather), Maria Quintero, Brandon DuBois, Christian DuBois (wife Krystal and great granddaughter Kassidy), Nikolai Kallhovde, Kristen Kallhovde, Ashley Hendrix and Elizabeth Hendrix; her sister, Ann Schacter; her numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 5 at St. John Vianney Church in Walnut Creek. Like her husband Chuck, her desire is for you to cherish those you love. If you would like to make a contribution in Helen's name, you can make it to either St. John Vianney Church where she worshipped or John Muir Hospital's The Garret Thrift Store, where she volunteered
