Ethel M. Salmon "Ann" May 31, 1920~Oct. 16, 2010 Longtime Resident of Walnut Creek Our beloved Mother passed away on October 16, 2010, at home where she spent the last 62 years. She was born Ethel Mae Smith to Laurence J. Smith and Mary Marshall in Oakland, CA. Survived by her two sons William L. (Diane) and Richard K. Salmon (Kay); grandchildren, Kelly Ann Salmon Coffelt (Jacob), Paul J. Salmon (Kimberly) and Chris W. Salmon (Andrea). She is also survived by siblings Ellen Keele, Thomas Smith, Agnes Purvis and James Smith; along with numerous nieces & nephews; and longtime caregiver Nilo Buensuceso. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years William Kendall Salmon in June of this year; and by her brothers Laurence and David. She was a member of the Escarabajo Buggy Club, Shaunza Dance Club and the Waldon Canasta Club. She also was an avid reader of mystery novels and watched Fox News continually. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday October 26 at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second Street, Benicia. Burial will be private at the Benicia City Cemetery.
