Born to Oreste and Helen Simoni on November 28, 1931 on Sherman Island , CA , she spent the majority of her life in Brentwood , CA . Dorothy was married to the late James "Whitey" Stallings for forty-seven years at the time of his passing on Sunday, February 12, 2006.
Dorothy cooperatively managed Stallings Properties Real Estate in Brentwood , CA with her late husband for nearly two decades. In her past time she enjoyed traveling the world, including Italy , Alaska , India and the Panama Canal , socializing with her girlfriends and volunteering at the local hospital.
Surviving are her son Thomas Stallings (wife Dina), daughters Peggy Jay (deceased, husband George), Nancy Garcia, Mary Enrico (husband Michael), grandchildren Lisa (Stallings) Ehrlich, Heather (Stallings) Ostertag, George Jay, Melissa (Jay) Fillmore, Jessica (Garcia) Vigil, Bridget Garcia, Christina Garcia, Michael Enrico, Brock Enrico, Erika Enrico and eleven great grandchildren, all residing throughout the United States.
The memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17th at the Holy Rosary Church of Antioch, CA with Father Vicente officiating.
