Dorothy was born in Los Gatos, CA. She moved to Martinez in the 1970s. She worked for MetLife Insurance for more than 40 years and was active at St. Catherines Catholic Church as a lecturer and Eucharist minister visiting the convalescent homes weekly. She enjoyed bird watching, needlepoint, gardening and her dogs. The past four years she has struggled with failing health. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her many friends and will be missed by everyone. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherines of Siena Catholic Church on Thursday July 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
