Dominic Catalano

Dominic Catalano Resident of Pleasant Hill Dominic, died on December 13, 2010 from complications of COPD. Born in Weed, CA on April 5, 1928. Dom, was predeceased by his wife Josephine and brother Jimmy. He is survived by three children: Sam (David), Julie (Mike) and Dianne; as well as his long-time companion Euna Aue and her family; also survived by his sister Severina; brothers Louie and Frank; many nieces, nephews; and extended family members. Dom graduated from Albany High and soon entered the Marines where he was stationed in China as an MP. After the service he worked in the produce business, considered law enforcement, but landed in the trucking business for over 50 years-owning K.L.D. Trucking with his best friend (and cousin) Louie Morabito. He was active and athletic well into his late 70s and was a fixture at Paddock Bowl for over 40 years. Dom will long be remembered for his huge heart and helping hand. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dom's life at a memorial on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 3:00pm at the Pacheco Community Center, 5800 Pacheco Blvd., Pacheco, CA.
