Cheryl was born in Oakland, raised in Concord and Pleasant Hill. Spent a number of years in the San Jose area, finally moving to Pacheco. Cheryl led a life seeking fun and adventure, especially day trips and camping. Cheryl graduated in Martinez at Costa Christian School and attended Diablo Valley College. Cheryl has left many friends from Mervyns, Varian, US Post Office and Target. She is survived by her son, Joshua, parents Jerry and Floy Doty, brother and sister-in-law Dale and Beth Doty, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cheryl's final resting place will be at Memory Gardens in Concord. No services are scheduled. An open house of memory will be held July 12 from 12 to 3 at Sun Valley Village Clubhouse, 125 Sahara Drive, Pacheco.
