Charlotte Jean Eeds
Aug. 8, 1925 ~ Aug. 10, 2015
Former Pinole Resident
Surrounded by family, Charlotte peacefully passed in her sleep two days after her 90th birthday.
Born in Weleetka, OK to John and Mary (Potter) Thomas, Charlotte graduated from Tulsa Central High in 1943. It was while attending Oklahoma State U that she met her loving husband of 61 years, Jack Eeds. After the war, they slowly made their way west, living in Baton Rouge, Las Cruces, and Eureka, before finally settling in Pinole, CA in 1956 to raise their family. In 1995, Charlotte and Jack retired to Roseville, CA, where Charlotte was an active community volunteer.
Charlotte had a successful career as a Bank manager. She enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. She and Jack toured the world together.
Charlotte is survived by her sister Pat Schweer, her children Dan Eeds (Paula), Pamela Nolt (Dale), and Jon Eeds (Karen), plus 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Jack, and her older sister, Marguerite Stephenson, passed on previously.
By her own admission she "had a good life." With this in mind, a celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, August 23, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at the Richmond Country Club, friends and family are invited to share memories. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Foundation, alzfdn.org are appreciated.
