Arnold J. Markman

Arnold J. Markman Resident of Walnut Creek Arnold J. Markman, 89, of Walnut Creek, a member of the greatest generation, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 16th 2010. Mr. Markman was born on March 27, 1921 in New York City. Mr. Markman is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Claire, his sons Howard & Barry, his grandchildren David, Mathew, Greg & Leah, Barry's wife Marie and Howard's life partner Marcie. He exemplified unconditional love in all of his actions, he taught his sons to be fathers and grandfathers and they in turn have taught their sons and daughters the true meaning of unconditional love. He was kind and gentle till the end, always thanking those who cared for him for their kindness. He will live in our hearts and minds and souls forever.
